Watch out, here comes Matilda! This is one talented lady! She’s a trained actor holding a Masters in Drama from Regent University. Matilda’s life-long affinity for oral interpretation naturally led to her focus on Voice Acting. She’s been recording since 1992 and has tackled projects in just about every genre imaginable! Matilda is the lead female narrator on the Common Core Teacher Training, which she suits perfectly as her undergraduate training was in Education, and she’s worked with every age level from preschool up. Business training or educational narration? She’s the one you want. Need an accent or a character voice? Matilda has an arsenal to draw from and is always up for creating something new. She has a fabulous studio complete with a Whisper Room recording booth and MacBook Air.

“Studying communications/drama in grad school, my professors were the first to suggest that I ought to look into voiceover.
At the time, I wasn’t even sure what that was!

Eventually I began training with a gentleman whose background was in radio.
This led to voicing local commercials and recording audio for real estate and auto shows on cable…..then moving to LA to pursue v.o. in earnest.
There I became a member of the Actor’s Co-op Theatre Company, (a highlight of which was taking Shakespeare workshops with Alfred Molina and Patsy Rodenberg).
I had the privilege of training under and then collaborating with Pat Fraley on excellent and even award-winning audiobook projects.
I’ve worked out of my own studio since August, 2008 on everything from commercials to eLearning, phone messaging to corporate narration.
It’s been my great joy to voice projects in nearly every facet of the industry.
