When Leah was born in one of the beach cities just outside of Los Angeles, this world became a better place. Her passion and aptitude for performance started early. As a young girl, she adored and excelled in the theater arts. Following her artistic instincts in her teenage years, she sang, danced and acted her way through high school. In her college years, she took to developing the business side and earned a degree in Marketing and Product Development. She went on to train at prestigious conservatories while acting in various projects plus also dabbled in the fashion industry. It wasn’t long before her voiceover success took center stage, prompting her to dedicate her time and energy to a full time voice acting career. She founded her own production company, McCormick Entertainment, shortly afterwards.
Over the years, Leah has become a multi-faceted performer appearing in feature films, television, and commercials and is actively involved in theatre, singing, and improv comedy. She is well known for live announcing The 2016 CMT Music Awards, The 2016 CMT Artists of the Year Awards and voice matching Disney’s beloved character “Princess Anna” from the hugely successful “Frozen” franchise. She has a style and flair that is in high demand which keeps her very busy but she still takes time with each project working her magic to create something spectacular.
Leah has a top quality studio with STUDIOBRICKS sound insulation booth, professionally tuned by George Whittam and complete with Source Connect, Phone Patch, ipDTLsource connect and ISDN is available. She is well suited for commercials, promos, trailers, narration, animation, video games and more.
“I fell in love with music when I was a little girl. My Father would play songs on the piano or the guitar and I would happily sing along. That musicality has stayed with me my whole life and inspires a lot of my work as a voice actress.
My lifelong affection towards singing, coupled with my acting background and marketing experience has led me to a fun-filled and successful voiceover career. I have had the honor of voicing a Disney princess, the rush of live announcing major award shows and even earned my black belt in commercial reads by working in radio.
I LOVE my home studio and like to call my STUDIOBRICKS isolation booth the “Ferrari” of sound booths. It is high tech, tricked out and easy on the eyes. (But don’t worry, it can still produce that coveted, relatable and down to earth conversational read too.)
I am passionate about my job and consider myself a storyteller. As such, I strive for connected, confident and unique reads. I thoroughly enjoy collaboration and the process of working together to bring your project to life the way YOU envision it. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to share my voice with you.
Let’s make some magic!”
