I was working as a broadcast producer/ creative and one day I went to produce a radio spot. The talent showed up and was sick and too nasally to use, so I stepped in as his replacement. Besides having directed both on-camera and voice actors, I had many years of improvisational acting under my belt. This started my parallel career as a voice actor and a scant 6 months later, I had booked my first of dozens of national tv spots and was well on my way. I’ve been everything from the voice of a heartworm for Hartz, to the voice of the zombie in Chronicle Books, “How to Speak Like a Zombie”, and the voice of toys and games including a Batman doll, Leapfrog Toys, Papa Smurf, Shaggy from Scooby Doo, etc. My voice has been featured on hundreds of games, perhaps most notably “League of Legends”, “Lord of the Rings” and the “Twisted Metal” franchise. From the voice on the boat that takes you to Alcatraz to the tour of the Alamo and a voice for over one hundred Fortune 500 companies, I am thrilled to say I’ve been enjoying a pretty good run.
